The Liberal Party of Canada in Saanich-Gulf Islands is proud to introduce our new Candidate for 2015 Mr. Tim Kane.

Tim brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our electoral district and to our region.  . Canadians know that it’s time for not just a new government, but a better government; and Tim will be an incredible asset to a Justin Trudeau lead team and government.

Tim is committed to taking us forward, growing the middle class, strengthening and diversifying our economy, protecting the most vulnerable, restoring Canada’s role in the world and becoming a world leader in sustainability and green, renewable energy.

Co-Founder and Chairman of Delta Media Inc. – Tim Kane is a strategic and creative communications planner who is committed to defending the local issues of all Saanich – Gulf Islands residents.

In 1991, Tim and his wife founded Delta Media, an Ottawa-based communications firm serving government, corporate, and non-profit clients across Canada. In 2009, the pair expanded their firm and opened a second location in Victoria, British Columbia. In addition to his responsibilities as chairman of Delta Media Inc., Tim has served as chairman of the Americas Region Board of Directors of the Worldcom Public Relations Group Inc. and as a former Director for the Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre Foundation. Tim has also served as a founding member of the Canadian Committee for World Press Freedom.

Tim is the proud recipient of the 2002 Golden Jubilee Medal, was the first inductee to the Algonquin College Media Hall of Fame, and was a dedicated member of the Famous 5 Ottawa – a volunteer group that was instrumental in persuading the government to install the Women are Persons! monument on Parliament Hill.
